Live Wedding Painting Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions
1. Service Overview:
The artist agrees to provide live wedding painting services for the event detailed below, creating a custom artwork based on the couple’s preferences.

2. Payment Terms:
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to secure the booking. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event. Failure to make full payment may result in cancellation of services.
Accepted Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
3. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made in writing via email or letter. The deposit is non-refundable.
If the client cancels less than 30 days before the event, 30% of the total fee will be retained as compensation for lost bookings.
If the artist cancels for any reason, the client will be refunded all amounts paid, including the deposit.
4. Travel & Accommodation:
For events outside of 40 miles from the artist’s studio, travel fees will be applied.
If the event requires overnight stay due to distance or timing, the client is responsible for providing or reimbursing accommodation costs for the artist.
5. Artist’s Responsibilities:
The artist will arrive at the venue 2-3 hours before the event to set up and begin the painting.
The artist will paint for a minimum of 3 hours during the event, focusing on the scene chosen by the client (e.g., ceremony, first dance).
The painting may not be fully completed during the event. The artist will take the painting back to the studio for finishing touches and will deliver the final artwork within 4 weeks.
6. Client’s Responsibilities:
The client will provide the artist with a designated space at the venue to set up the easel and painting supplies.
The client will ensure that the artist has a clear view of the scene they wish to have painted.
The client agrees to communicate any specific requests or changes no later than 5 days before the event.
7. Copyright & Usage Rights:
The artist retains the copyright to the artwork and may use images of the painting for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media).
The client will receive ownership of the physical painting and may display it as they wish.
Reproduction of the painting for commercial use is prohibited unless authorized by the artist in writing.
8. Force Majeure:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of either party (e.g., natural disasters, illness, venue closure), both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, the artist will refund any payments made, excluding the deposit.
9. Liability:
The artist is not responsible for any damages or delays caused by third parties (e.g., venue staff, transportation issues).
The artist is not liable for any personal injury or property damage at the event.
